You will be greeted at the gate by a marshal who will provide you with a map of the PFTC grounds, including the BFTA course and facility locations.

A second marshal will direct you to a parking space.

If you require any help throughout the day, please visit the Registration Point shown on the map.

A stopwatch will be ready in place at each lane for each set of shooters, please carry the stopwatch with you for the rest of the shoot and hand into the Registration Point with your score cards upon completion of the course.

To ensure that everybody hears the signal to stop or commence shooting over our large ground, an Air Horn will be used instead of a whistle. A single blast to stop and a double blast to commence/recommence firing.

All competitors air rifles are required to be chronograph checked during the day. A chronograph test bench will be located between lanes 6 & 7. You may visit the chronograph at any point during the day or simply use between shooting lanes 6 & 7.

If you are planning to stay locally overnight Saturday, Purbeck has plenty to offer from camping to hotels, as well as of lots places to dine. A simple Google search for ‘accommodation’ or ‘camping/touring’ in ‘Bere Regis’ will provide a host of choice.

For camping and touring the nearest two sites are ‘Rowlands Wait Touring Park’ and ‘Longthorns Farm’, both less than 10 minutes drive from PFTC. Please remember these are suggestions, not recommendations. Please check that the provider meets your accommodation standards and has availability for your dates.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all competitors good luck, I hope that the weather will be fine and that you all have an enjoyable day.
